Frequently Asked Questions
ALL THINGS BROWS
Brow Lamination
What is brow lamination?
It’s like a perm for your brows but instead of curling, it smooths and lifts each brow hair so they all sit in the same direction. This gives the illusion of fuller, fluffier brows, even if you don’t have a lot of hair to begin with.

How long does it last?
Around 6 to 8 weeks. It slowly fades as your brow hairs grow out naturally. You’ll start noticing your natural texture returning by week 5 or 6.

Can I combine it with tinting or waxing?
Yes! In fact, most of my clients love the combo. I usually laminate first, then tint and wax after (in that order!) to avoid irritating the skin and to get the cleanest finish.

What should I do after the treatment?
No getting your brows wet for 24 hours, no steam, sweat, or saunas either. After that, I recommend brushing them into place daily and applying a bit of nourishing oil or balm to keep them healthy.

Brow Tinting & Dyeing
What’s the difference between tinting and dyeing?
Tinting colours the brow hairs only—great for a soft, natural boost. Dyeing (or hybrid tinting) stains both the hair and the skin underneath. That gives a more defined, filled-in look, almost like makeup that lasts.

How long does each one last?
Tinting usually lasts about 2–4 weeks. Dyeing can last longer on the hair (up to 6 weeks) and leaves a tint on the skin for about a week—perfect if you like the look of filled-in brows without doing anything in the morning.

Will it suit my hair colour?
Yes! I custom mix every shade to suit your natural tones, whether you’re blonde, brunette, redhead, or somewhere in between.

Can I still get tinting or dye if I do lamination?
Absolutely. Most clients do both in one appointment. It really brings the brows to life after lamination, adding colour and definition.

Brow Waxing & Mapping
What’s brow mapping—and do I need it?
Yep, you do if you want brows that actually suit your face. Brow mapping is where I measure and outline your ideal brow shape based on your natural features. It shows me where your brows should start, arch, and end so we’re not just guessing. It’s all about balance and bringing out your best features.

Do you map my brows every time?
Yes, the first time or when we’re changing your shape. its a little more detailed. Once we’ve nailed your perfect brow blueprint, I follow that at each tidy-up.

How often should I wax my brows?
Every 4 to 6 weeks is perfect. That gives us enough growth to work with, and helps keep your shape looking polished and fresh—without overdoing it.

Will waxing hurt?
Not going to lie—it’s a quick sting, but it’s over before you can say “brows.” I use a gentle wax and soothing products to make it as comfy as possible. Most of my clients barely flinch.

Is there anything I should avoid before my wax?
Yes—skip skincare with retinol, exfoliants, or anything active for at least 3 days before your appointment. It helps keep the skin calm and avoids any unnecessary redness.

Can I still wax if I’m getting lamination too?
Definitely, but I always wax after lamination.
